Rann Utsav is a seasonal festival held near Dhordo Village, situated next to the White Rann of Kutch, Gujarat. Rann Utsav takes place during the winter season, generally from November to February, and coincides with the cool winter nights as well as the full moon nights when the white salt flats of Rann shine in their best form. Gujarat Tourism organises the festival, while private operators also run their own camps around Dhordo.
For the 2026–27 season, Adhvanta’s Rann Utsav packages are available from November 2026 to February 2027. The White Salt Tent City by Adhvanta is located at Dhordo Cross Road on Khavda Road, approximately 85 kilometres from Bhuj.
Two main tent categories are currently available at The White Salt Tent City by Adhvanta. Both categories are air-conditioned and include accommodation, meals, sightseeing and scheduled Bhuj Railway Station transfers as per the package itinerary.

Note: GST at 18% is extra on all rates. Premium dates generally cover full moon nights and peak holiday periods, while economy dates cover shoulder-season dates. Children below 6 years stay complimentary without a separate bed or seat. Entry tickets, where applicable, are charged at the time of sightseeing. The final package price depends on the tent category and travel date. GST at 18% is extra. This is where Dhordo village hosts the Rann Utsav experience. In our tour packages, we provide scheduled pick-ups and drops from Bhuj Railway Station.

Bhuj is the nearest major railway station and airport. Our scheduled AC transfer from Bhuj Railway Station is at 10:00 am, with the departure transfer from the campsite at 9:30 am, or as scheduled in advance.

Peak Season (December to January)
This is the busiest and most popular time, especially during full moon nights and the peak holiday period. We strongly recommend booking well in advance, as preferred tent categories can sell out quickly during this period.
Shoulder Season (November)
A great balance of pleasant weather, better tent availability, and comparatively better pricing in select categories. Nights are cooler and ideal for enjoying the desert atmosphere comfortably.
Late Season (February)
Crowds may be comparatively lower outside special dates, and travellers can often find better availability. The weather also becomes slightly warmer compared to peak winter weeks.
If possible, we suggest planning your visit on weekdays. Full moon, weekend and public holiday dates are typically more expensive and fill up faster across popular tent categories.

Answer: Our standard packages include accommodation at the Rann Utsav tent city, all meals from check-in to checkout, access to the cultural evening with folk performances, and a guided visit to the White Rann viewing area. Transport from Bhuj and sightseeing are included in our tour packages. Flights and trains to Bhuj are not included unless added separately.

Answer: For travel between December 15 and January 15, we recommend booking 60 to 90 days ahead. Full moon weekends in this period sell out earliest.
