Rann Utsav is a seasonal festival held near Dhordo village, next to the The White Salt of Kutch. At Adhvanta Hospitality we offer accommodation at The White Salt Tent City by Adhvanta, along with packages, current tent tariffs, meals, sightseeing and scheduled transfers.

What Rann Utsav is, and when it takes place
Rann Utsav takes place during the winter, generally from November to February, coinciding with the cool nights and the full moon nights when the white salt flats are at their best. Gujarat Tourism organises the festival, while private operators run their own camps around Dhordo. For the 2026–27 season, Adhvanta's packages are available from November 2026 to February 2027. The White Salt Tent City by Adhvanta is at Dhordo Cross Road on Khavda Road, approximately 85 kilometres from Bhuj.
Couple packages
The couple packages are one of our best sellers, pairing the tent stay with activities so that it reads as an experience rather than an accommodation plan. Depending on duration you get a visit to the The White Salt, evening cultural activities, tent accommodation, meals and sightseeing around Kutch. For full moon dates or the December and January peak, book well in advance — demand is highest then.

- GST at 18% is extra on all rates.
- Premium dates generally cover full-moon nights and the peak holiday block. Economy dates cover shoulder days at the beginning and end of the season, and the rest are regular dates.
- Children below 6 years stay complimentary, without a separate bed or seat.
- Entry tickets, where applicable, are charged at the time of sightseeing.

- Packages include accommodation, all meals and the sightseeing listed in the itinerary, entrance tickets for the sightseeing points named in the itinerary, and AC vehicle transfers between Bhuj Railway Station and the camp at scheduled times.
Getting there
How to reach Dhordo
Our packages include scheduled pick-up and drop from Bhuj Railway Station — arrival transfer at 10:00 am, departure from the campsite at 9:30 am, or as arranged in advance. For independent travellers, the approximate distances are below.

When to come
Best time to book with us
Peak season — December to January
The busiest and most popular time, especially full moon nights and the peak holiday period. Book well in advance; preferred tent categories sell out quickly.
Shoulder season — November
A good balance of pleasant weather, better availability and comparatively better pricing in select categories. Nights are cooler and ideal for the desert atmosphere.
Late season — February
Crowds are comparatively lower outside special dates and availability is better. The weather is slightly warmer than peak winter.
A note on weekdays
If you can, plan for weekdays. Full moon, weekend and public holiday dates are typically more expensive and fill up faster across popular tent categories.

Yes. Adhvanta Hospitality Pvt. Ltd is an authorised travel agent for Rann Utsav. We book directly into the official Gujarat Tourism tent city at Dhordo and provide written confirmation of your tent category before you make any payment.
What does a standard package include?
Accommodation at the Rann Utsav tent city, all meals from check-in to check-out, access to the cultural evening with folk performances, and a guided visit to the The White Salt viewing area. Transport from Bhuj and sightseeing are included in our tour packages. Flights and trains to Bhuj are not included unless added separately.
What is the starting price?
Our packages start at around Rs 7,000 per person per night for a non-AC Swiss Cottage on double occupancy. Full tour packages including transport and sightseeing from Bhuj start at approximately Rs 14,000 per person for a 2-night stay. We have options at every price point.
How far in advance should I book?
For travel between 15 December and 15 January, book 60 to 90 days ahead — full moon weekends in that period sell out earliest. For November or February travel, 30 days is usually sufficient. We advise against last-minute bookings in peak season, as tent availability cannot be guaranteed.
Can you arrange packages for large groups?
Yes. We offer group packages for families, corporate offsites and travel groups, with dedicated support, customised itineraries and pricing that depends on group size and dates.
